The Cursed Blue Rose

Every other power flows one way — up to a master, into a relic, down a bloodline. This one flows between equals.

A scholar weaves her thread into the open lattice of shared minds.
Syndesia is the schema of fellowship — the gift of the Scholar, the Elder of discovery and restless invention. It binds living minds into a voluntary network of peers: no master, no vessel, no throne, only a circle of experts who share knowledge and thymara freely, governed by their own consent. It is held to be the finest engine for collaborative inquiry ever devised — and, remarkably, the one schema able to hold its threads together even across the great Veil-barrier that severs nearly all other magic.
Where the disasters of the age have so often sprung from a single mind reaching too far alone, the Open Weave is the deliberate answer: brilliance made shared, and therefore made answerable.
"One mind can be wrong in private. A weave of them must be wrong out loud — which is how it learns."

Knowledge passes between equals — even across the Veil that severs all else.
